Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser. They are used to remember your preferences and enable essential features of the application.

2. Cookies We Use

Flowtent uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for the application to function. We do not use advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies.

The table below describes the application at dashboard.flowtent.app. The landing page at flowtent.app sets no cookies of its own — see section 3 for the third party that can.

Cookie Purpose Type Duration
.AspNetCore.Identity.Application Keeps you signed in to your account Strictly necessary Session / persistent (if “remember me”)
.AspNetCore.Antiforgery.* Protects forms against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) Strictly necessary Session
.AspNetCore.Culture Stores your language/culture preference Strictly necessary 1 year
flowtent_cookie_consent Remembers your cookie consent choice Strictly necessary 1 year

3. Third-Party Cookies

The registration page uses Google reCAPTCHA for bot protection, which may set its own cookies. These cookies are governed by Google's Privacy Policy. reCAPTCHA cookies are only loaded on the registration page.

The waitlist form on flowtent.app uses Cloudflare Turnstile instead. Its script is only fetched once you click into the form or start typing in it — someone who merely reads the page never contacts Cloudflare about it at all. The check itself runs when you submit; Cloudflare may set its own cookies in order to perform it. Cloudflare also sits in front of both sites as a CDN and may set cookies for security purposes. All of these are governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

The landing page also counts visits using Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies at all and stores no identifier in your browser that could recognise you on a later visit. That is why the statement in section 2 — that the landing page sets no cookies of its own — remains true, and why these statistics need no consent banner.

4. Managing Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Please note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent the application from functioning correctly (e.g., you will not be able to sign in).
